My Relationship With Christ

Essays on Faith and Life #1

How has your relationship with Christ changed you and how does it affect you on a daily basis?

I am no longer in control, Christ is at the center of all I do and the decisions I make on a daily basis. I no longer strive to live a life defined by the works I do, but now desire to display for all to see what Christ has done in me. Glorifying God and telling others about his amazing grace and sacrificial love have become a defining part of whom I am and who I desire to be. My definition of success is no longer defined by worldly objectives, but is rooted in Christ and the man that he desires for me to become. I no longer seek to serve Christ because I feel I have to, but because I want to.

Scott, you are a wise man in a young man's body. You articulated in a simple way the basic worldview that eludes 99.9% of the world, but if the rest of us ever really got it, would transform the universe. Thanks for living your live as a living testiment to that truth. Say "hi" to Ashley! We pray for you.
